HP hat viele der Dinge untersucht, die mit sog. Intelligenz mit anderen Geräten, häufig im Internet kommunizieren.
Leider sind bei fast alles dieser Geräte drastische Sicherheitsprobleme zu finden.

Die Studie von Symantec zeigt, dass ein sehr großer Teil der self-tracking wearables extrem unsicher programmiert ist:
keine verschlüsselten Datenverbindungen ins Internet, Klartext-Übermittlung der Passworte, und
ähnliche Probleme.
